3 urine samples (about 500 mL):

- 1 blank
- 1 identified sample spiked with 230Thorium, and possibly with other actinides
- 1 identified sample containing at least Plutonium and Americium. It may be spiked with other actinides from a pre-defined list that is provided to the participants.

Remarks: The total activity of one of the active samples will be between 0 and 0.005 Bq, the activity of the other sample will be between 0.005 and 0.020 Bq.

Each laboratory will have to measure the exact activity.

Plutonium Reference solution

Each laboratory that takes part in the "Actinides in urine exercise" will receive a sample (v = 15 - 20 mL) of a plutonium acid solution (activity = 10 - 100 Bq.L^-1).
