Founding members of the association
Our association was founded by the following three organizations
Association of French Nuclear Industry Biologists (ABNF)
The ABNF brings together Biologists, Pharmacists and Doctors from the Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique, the Compagnie Générale des Matières Nucléaires, Electricité De France and the French Armed Forces. Its aim is to promote the exchange of knowledge and information in the field of radiotoxicology, and to participate in international scientific and professional events.
The French Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission(CEA)
The CEA (Commissariat à l’énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives) is a public research organization active in the fields of defense, nuclear and alternative energies, industrial technologies and health.
COGEMA
(now ORANO)
Orano is a French industrial group and a leading international player in the nuclear sector, specializing in the fuel cycle, from uranium mining to conversion, enrichment, transport and recycling.
The company has an international presence, with a sales network in 100 countries and an industrial presence in 43 countries.
